    Flying over Batu Lintang barracks, near Kuching (Borneo), recently at a height of 200 feet, R.A.A.F. Beaufighter pilots reported sighting white prisoners of war, clad in khaki shorts, who excitedly waved as the R.A.A.F. aircraft flew over to drop leaflets announcing Japan's surrender.
