  4. Spectacular Police Parade At Port Adelaide

    THE GOVERNOR (SIR ALEXANDER HORE-RUTHVEN), accompanied by the Commissioner of Police (Brig. Gen. Leane) paid a visit to the mounted police barracks at Port Adelaide yesterday, when members of the mounted and foot sections gave an interesting exhibition of drill. The pictures show: 1. Mounted men on their picturesque chargers, and foot police lined up for inspection. 2. The Governor receives the salute. 3. Mounted police being inspected by the Governor.
