Advertising : 97 wordsTHE KINDERGARTEN UNION OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA is making an appeal for funds today for the extension of its valuable work amongst the poorer children of the city. The Union does an inestimable amount of good in teaching and caring for the children before their entry into the State schools, and during the present period of unemployment does much towards relieving the distress in homes. Lady Hore-Ruthven visited some of the centres this week, and expressed her sympathy with the Appeal. Above are some of the kiddies spending their playtime in the pleasant surroundings of one of the kindergartens. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
