  4. Many Go Back To Noarlunga's Four-Day Carnival

    THE PRETTY TOWNSHIP OF NOARLUNGA WAS IN FESTIVE DRESS yesterday when the first Back to Noarlunga celebrations were opened by (Sir Alexander Hore-Ruthven). The composite picture shows: 1. Two of Noarlunga's oldest residents enjoying a chat—Mr. William Giles and Mrs. The Governor Ellen. Grant, born in 1836 arid 1857 respectively. 2. The Governor watching the procession. 3. Lieut. E. E. Hunt, who commanded the Light Horse escort for the Governor, with hie small daughters, Marjorie and Rosie. 4. Troop of 3rd Light Horse escorting the Governor's car to the oval.
