    [?] VICTORIAN BATSMEN YESTERDAY DEFIED THE BARRAGE of England’s Test bowling for hours, and between them put up a new record for a fourth-wicket stand for Victoria against England. They are Ian Lee (left), 22, and Ross Gregory, 21. Lee was bowled by Farnes when he had scored 160, and Gregory was still unconquered when stumps were drawn, with 109 runs to his credit.
