    IN THIS SERIES OF PICTURES is given an indication of the terrific force with which a runaway train crashed into another in a siding at Croydon yesterday, causing damage estimated at between £20,000 and £30,000. 1. The fourth carriage of the runaway mounted high over the wreckage after the first three had broken away. On the left is the motorman's cabin, charred by fire. 2.
