    LIKE GREAT BIRDS, KEEPING PERFECT DISTANCE, THE BRITISH FLYING BOATS WHEEL ABOVE THE CROWD before gliding to the water at St. Kilda yesterday afternoon. Thousands lined the upper and lower esplanades, and thronged the pier, to greet the Royal Air Force men who have cruised 16,500 miles from London without serious mishap.
