  3. Melbourne Passengers In Air Liner Disaster

    SEVEN OF THIRTEEN PASSENGERS WERE KILLED when the Imperial Airways air liner City of Ottawa (left) was forced down in the English Channel and crashed. The machine developed engine trouble, apparently, when over the Channel on a flight between London and Paris.
