    YESTERDAY’S MELBOURNE CUP WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE NEW ZEALAND CUP, since Nightmarch, the winner of the big race, his owner (Mr. A. Louisson), and the jockey (Roy Reed) all came from the sister Dominion in search of turf honors. Their quest is shown above at the climax of success when Governor-General presented the gold cup to Mr. Louisson in the mounting yard.
