    KING RAIN AND HIS WATERY RULE DID NOT DAUNT thousands of Show patrons yesterday, and it is doubtful whether thunderbolts would have kept some of them away. They were down for the Show, and they went to the Show. 1. Mr. and Mrs. Laidlaw's Barwood and Some Mistake, who secured first place in the National Jumpers' Plate. 2. "Creamy," owned by F. W. Bowden, baulked at the 6 ft. 6 in. mark in the High Jump and threw the jockey through the bars. 3. D. H. Prince's "Doubtful" fell in the Handicap Trot, but nobody was hurt. 4.
