    THE LION ROARED AND THE GIRAFFE LOOKED BORED, when the children from Rushworth district schools invaded the Zoo yesterday. Over 1000 visitors, more than half of them children, had the time of their lives, feeding the monkeys, riding on the elephant and the train, and watching the hundred-and-one animals of the place in their cages. Molly was very much missed, but her absence did not dampen the spirits of the picnickers, The outing was arranged by Mr. D. A. Coyle, of Rushworth, and several hundreds of former residents of the town, now living in Melbourne, renewed acquaintance with, their old friends during the afternoon. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
