Advertising : 36 wordsA very large gathering witnessed the racing at Caulfield on Saturday, when the Futurity Stakes was won by the New Zealand gelding. The Hawk, owned by Mr. J. M. Cameron, after a fast and consistent race. The forthcoming Flemington meetings gave zest to the gathering, so many high-class performers who will probably take part in the latter being engaged. The weather was heavy and afforded very little opportunity for the display of fashions, which are customary at Caulfield.
