November Meeting is regarded as “consolation” day both for horse-owners and backers, but it hardly proved so this year, except in the case of Purser, who consoled his owner for the Caulfield Cup defeat by easily winning the Armadale Cup.     The weather was too varied for good sailing at St. Kilda on Saturday. During the afternoon there were experienced rain, strong breezes, a little sunshine and calms, and the evolutions were as a result rather straggling. The Governor-General led the evolutions in his yacht Yeulba. (1) On St. Kilda pier, just before the storm. (2) The Governor General preparing. (3) A yachtsman and his friends.
