Doust, who was a prominent member of the Bridgetown Warriors Club many years ago, we publish a photograph of the players who took part in a match on ground where the Bridgetown office of the “Blackwood-Warrin Sentinel” now stands. Land at the rear of the players is now occupied by the Convent of Mercy. Several of the players, like Mr. Doust himself and Mr. J. J. McAlinden, still reside in Bridgetown, Dobey Doust is at Boyup Brook, Jack Smith is Mt Greenbushes and, sadly, quite a number have answered the last call. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
