    NOSE-DIVED INTO THE SEA.--Flying officer S. de B. Griffith (left insets) was badly cut about the face through, contact with the down on the Harbor through engine trouble instrument board when his 'plane, welcoming the Supermarines yesterday, was forced down on the Harbor through engine trouble.
