Advertising : 6 wordsIN THE GREAT HALL OF THE UNIVERSITY yesterday the degree ad eundem statum (to the same state) was bestowed on Mr. Amery (Secretary for the Dominions) by Sir William Cullen (Chancellor). In conferring the degree, the Chancellor stated that in having as a graduate one of the Secretaries of State they were reminded of their friendship and loyalty--a loyalty which the great bulk of the people of Australia felt towards the Empire.
