Advertising : 32 wordsEFFORTS TO RETRIEVE A PORTION OF THE WRECKED GREYCLIFFE from the harbor bed were rewarded yesterday afternoon, when the ladies' cabin, estimated to weigh about 20 tons, was brought to the surface with the aid of the Harbor Trust's giant crane. Work on the wreck commenced at 10 a.m., but it was not till 5 p.m. that it was lifted to the position shown in this picture. Shortly afterwards it was lowered slightly and allowed to remain in the water until this morning when an effort is to be made to tow it to the beach at Taronga.
