    LOOKING MORE SINSTER AGENTS OF DESTRUCTION than ever in the murk of yesterday evening, the Otway and the Oxley, two new submarines for the Australian Navy, passed through the heads, and anchored at Garden Island. This special picture of the Otway, which entered first, was taken by a "Pictorial" photographer just inside South Head. A curtain of rain was so opaque that even the looming bulk of North Head was shut out. The vessels left Chatham in February, 1928, and were some months at Malta. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
