  5. THOUSANDS SEE PARACHUTIST'S PLUNGE FROM 'PLANE

    SYDNEY TASTED THRILLS YESTERDAY when the young Norwegian parachutist, Lieutenant Haakon Quiller, climbed from his seat in the "Daily Telegraph Pictorial" 'plane, as it speeded above the Domain at an altitude of 400 feet, balanced on the wing, and then flung himself into the air. Over 60,000 anxious people saw him drop like a stone for a hundred feet or so.
