  4. ROYAL INSTITUTION FOR THE BLIND.

    The committee of the Royal. Institution for the Blind-bate decided on the erection of a new home at the corner of Brougham place and Poole street, and with that object in very have promoted the universal fair now in progress at the Exhibition Building in the endeavour to r[?] £8,000 to cover the expenditure. It is hoped that the work will be put in hand shortly, and completed within about nine months. The inmates of the present building, which is also in [?] them be. moved m to the E[?] home. The proposed institution will be a handsome building, and, as will been seen from the above view of the facade, the design will be Elizabethan. The site is at present occupied by a[?] showroom. With the new building the factory will be situated on the same block, so that all departments will be grouped together, and in addition to the extra space which will be provided the committee will be enabled to handle the institution with more ...
