    About 2.45 o'clock this morning a fire occurred In a nine-roomed house, Montana, at Rosocliffe-street, H Ighgate Hill, and the occupants had to make a hurried exit. The buildind was owned by a widow, Mrs. I. Armstrong, and comprised, three fiats, which were all occupied. Two reels from South Brisbane Fire Brigade attended, but were unable to save the building, which was completely destroyed.
