    Referring to the announcement by the Minister for Works that State brickworks were to be brought into existence, the manager of the N.S.W. Co. said:—"it wonder what Mr. Griffith and the Government would say if we brickmasters turned round to-night and stopped all supplies of bricks to Government works, thereby throwing hundreds of men out of employment.
