When brought down within the Allied lines, Hun aviators invariably try to set fire to their machines and so spoil all chances of any of the mechanical details becoming known. On the occasion pictured, a Hun m achine had come down in the Allied lines, and the aviators, who were uninjured, wer e about to fire it. Fortunately a squad of cavalry had noticed the descent, and, galloping to the spot, prevented the destruction of the machine, and took the aviators prisoners. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
