    The latest reports indicate that the Russian forces which have invaded Mesopotamia, probably by means of the road shown as leading over the mountains from Mianduab in North-Western Persia, have reached the neighbourhood of Mosul and have forced the Turks operating in that district to beat a hasty retreat.
