The British have made a sudden dash at St. Eloi, a village south of Ypres, and close to the Comines-Ypres canal and railway. It will be remembered that about a month ago there was severo fighting between the railway and the canal which connect Comines and Ypres, and the British appear to have resumed the argument with effect.
