  2. AMERICAN TOURIST SHIP MALOLO ARRIVES.

    On its cruise around the Pacific the American tourist ship Malolo reached Melbourne yesterday. Its passengers were given a warm welcome and were hurried away on sightseeing, tours. The central photograph above shows the Malolo steaming slowly up the bay. The scene at the pier as viewed from the ship is depicted at the top, on the right, and on the left is a photograph of the cars conveying the tourists along Beaconsfield parade before a run along St. Kilda road to the Alexandra Gardens, where a reception was held. The Malolo's funnels may be seen in the distance. Beneath this picture is a group of Rotarians who formed themselves into a club on the vessel.
