    The latest issue of the State "Government Gazette" contains particulars of the reclaimed land at Heytesbury, parish of Jancourt, and also that known as the land heath, now available for application under conditional purchup* lease, up to January 14, 1011. At Heytesbury there are 14 allotments, representing 2,300 acres, and at Portland 13 allotments, representing 2,002 acres. Plans are now ready, showing the allotment 'which have nil been.surveyed), and giving full particulars. Plans have been prepared giving full par ticulars regarding the Kamarooka forest area, which lins been excised and made available for selection. There aro 23 allot ments, comprising 1,223 acres, open to Januury 0, 1011.     SEYMOUR, Sunday.—A body found in the river has been identified by Mr. T. M'Nally as that of a man who had behaved in an eccentric manner at his place on Monday. The man was first seen to stand In'about four feet' of water for throO'hours. Subsequently he returned to the house, and Mr. M'Nally persuaded bim to put on some dry clothes, nnd. then went for the. police. The lunn then walked into another lagoon, and stood in that for an hour. On the arrival of the police, he had disappeared. It is thought he walked into the river, anil waa washed away. So far Hie body has not been identifie!, It is that of a man about 00 years of agc. Ho was wearing n very small signet ring, with Hie letter "M" on it. Dr. Strangman made a post mortem on the body, and found that death was due to drowning. The deputy coroner (Mr. T.     About half-past 11 on Saturday evening the dead body of a man was discovered by Francis Brown, a boy, on the railway line between Fairfield-park and Westgarth. The lower portions of both legs had been cut off, and were lying between the rails, about 3ft. fiom the body. Information was given lo the slationmiistor at Fairficld-park (Air. AV. Leckie), who communicated with the jiolice. Constable Ellison had the body removed to the Morgue, where it was iden tified late last evening ns that of Benj'amin Johnson, aged 55 years.     Inquiry was made by the coroner, Dr. Cole, at the Morgue on Saturday, into the death of a young man, named Richard Frederick Grice, who was found on ber 0 lying with a fractured skull at the foot of the steps leading from Princc'sbridge lo Prince's-walk. He died shortly nfter admission to the Melbourne Hospital. Cohen, Holmes, and Berryman, P.M.'s, comments were made, regarding certain declarations of licensees as to Mr. Holmes stated thal no other tradesmen with anything like the same volume of business would think of hcc'pinf their accounts in.the same way as most publicans appeared to do.
