    Wounded Australian Soldiers at Mustapha Hospital, Alexandria, Egypt. These three pictures of officers and men of the 1st Battalion were taken in Egypt prior to embarking for Gallipoli. The first is a group of the regimental signallers, and the second shows (from left to right) Captain Davidson (adjutant, since wounded), Major Ivindon (since wounded), and Lieutenant-Colonel Dobbin.
