  2. NEW ADELAIDE RAILWAY-STATION.

    The plan reproduced above gives a good idea of the proposed by-out of the new Adelaide Railway-Station. The outline of tin existing station is shown by a dotted line. It will be seen that the north lines and the Glenelg and Brighton lines are to be carried across the existing quadrangle and run up to the passenger concourse. The roadway between the new offices and the Legislative Council is shown as well as the outlet between the City Baths and the Government Printing Office. The main entrance and ramp at the south-eastern corner, and the domed waiting hall, shaped like a cross, in the centre of the building are features of the design.
