    The second anniversary of the completion of Barney Sharp's dam was celebrated last night by a Fancy Dress Bull, which held in M'Moylan's big barn, Considering there was a counter attraction in the shape of a wake over at Quinlan's Half-Way House, the attendance was good. A [?] was [?] for the best-known Australian character, which was a gift for Tommy Dawes as the late Mr. Edward Kelly though "Fatty" Marcourt came out strongly as a "Freetreader," and Boll Sprigg ([?]nderbolt) was a great favourite with the ladies as a freebooter. The ladies' dresses were a very choice mixture of odds and ends, and showed great ingenuity and originality, Mrs. Ellis' "Queen Elizabeth" being considered equal to anything in the same line ...
