  4. SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL PREMIERSHIP COMPETITION.—THE GRAMMAR SCHOOL TEAM.

    The competition under the management of the Athletic Association of the Great Public Schools of New South Wales resulted in a tie between the Sydney Grammar School and the King's School, who had suffered one defeat each at each others' hands. In the play-off the Sydney Grammar School won, after a splendidly-contested game, by 12 points to 5, thus winning the premiership for the third year in succession.'
