    Five thousand fair collectors distributed themselves through Sydney and the suburbs last Saturday, and as a result of their efforts added £7702 to the Hospital Saturday Fund. Last year the total was £8030, showing an apparent decrease on Saturday's contributions of £328. In reality, however, the fund is nearly £200 better than it was at the same date last year, the industrial donations having been larger than previously.   3. PRIZE-WINNING STOCK AT SINGLETON SHOW.

    The strong feature of the show was cattle, both dairy and beef breeds being well represented. Mr. H. H. Waddell and his son won most of the prizes in the beef class, and Mr. E. P Perry was very successful with his Guernseys in the dairy section. The horse that won the active draught championship.
