    Following the procession from Shortland park to the Victoria Theatre yesterday afternoon for the "Scouts' Own" Service, the proceedings began with the assembly of the Flags of the Nations on the platform. The photograph shows the Mayor of Newcastle (Ald. R. G. Kilgour) at the chairman's table, with the President of the Newcastle Scouts' Association (Mr. John Paton) on his right.
