  3. A WONDERFUL PICTURE OF THE CITY OF RHEIMS.

    In the foreground may be se[?]n the Rheims Cathedral. Outside the city can be seen both the Allied and German lines. The above photo was taken some time before the last great offensive. Cabled advices on the 23rd April state that the town of Rheims is now a ruir.. The cathedral has been hit repeatedly, but only by shell, spilin[?]ers and the frame is in much the same state as it was months ago. Joan of Are still rides her bronze charger. immutably serene and co[?]ident before the athedral though a shell splinter has broken the uplifted sword held in her right hand.
