    This letter was written by Williams under the name of Swanston from the Southern Cross goldfield, Western Australia, to Miss Rounsefell at Bathurst, New South-Wales. That the two letters were written by one person is apparent at the first glance. A comparison of the words "Dear" and "you," the capital letter "I" and the letters "th," all used in both documents, shows conclusively that there has not been in either case the slightest attempt at disguise. ...
