  2. PHYSICAL TRAINING OF TEACHERS AT THE ENGINEERS' DEPOT.

    The photographs reproduced herewith were taken at the Engineers' Depot, Alexandra Avenue where a group of twenty suburban teachers has entered upon a course of physical training under Captain T. H. Holt. The teachers are receiving instruction in squad drill, physical culture, first aid to the injured, games, as set out in the London Syllabus of Physical Culture, and swimming. The course began on Monday, and will extend over two weeks. These courses were started at the beginning of last year.
