    On July 14,1861, the princes Albert Victor and George arrived in Sydney Harbor on H.M.S. Bacchante, and this photograph of the welcome at Man-o'-War' Steps affords an interestig contrast to last Wednesday's welcome of the Prince of Wales at Farm Cove. Except for the warships, the waterway was almost deserted, and there was not any crowding of the people on the foreshores.
