During the recent international sports in Denmark, the most sensational and interest-creating event was a race between an aeroplane and a motor-car. It would seem odds on in favor of the aeroplane. But it was not so. The distance chosen as five miles, and, to the astonishment of the crowd of spectators, the Italian competitor, in his racing car, beat the Aeroplane.
