All our readers are aware of the terrible deportations of Belgians to work for their German taskmasters. The German border is. guarded by high wire fences, and several of the wires are charged with electricity. Some of the Belgians, tired of the slave conditions, not knowing this, attempted to escape and were electrocuted, one man being found lying across the wires as depicted in our illustration. ...
