  3. New Railway Commissioner Succeeds Mr. Webb

    FORMER RAILWAYS COMMISSIONER AND HIS SUCCESSOR: Mr. C. B. Anderson, General Superintendent of the South Australian Railways Department, was yesterday appointed Railways Commissioner in succession-to Mr. W. A. Webb (left), who has held the position since November, 1922. Mr. Anderson's appointment will date from May 16, 1930, and until then Mr. Webb will be Acting Railways Commissioner.
