Summary
  • Most bird owners complain about the mess created by pet birds. Pet retailers can educate their customers about the proper cleaning and maintenance of birds and their cages. Retailers should also stock their shelved with a variety of cleaning and mess management products such as air filters, deodorizers, disinfectants, perch scrapers, cage skirts/aprons, water bottles, locking feeders, bird baths, bath sprays and shampoos. These products along with regular maintenance can facilitate cleaning chores.
