Summary
  • Election victories by unions at chemical plants have been increasing since 1993, and the data leads to the conclusion that unions are targeting chemical companies, and small chemical companies lose more elections than do larger ones. Chemical companies can gain more election victories by correcting the four most common errors. Those errors are ignoring early signs of low employee morale, making election decisions by committee, focusing on irrelevant election issues and choosing wrong person to deliver closing speech.
