A skit of 172 lines of rhyming verse satirising Banks' amorous activities in Tahiti with Oberea portrayed as Queen of Tahiti. The anonymous author (later identified as John Scott-Waring) cast Banks and the Queen as Ulysses and Calypso mockingly drawing on Hawkesworth's account of the first voyage, claiming to have suppressed several passages from it as being too racy for its readers.
