Summary
  • A book of old and new hymns in Irish (Gaelic). Most of the lyrics were religious poems in the bardic tradition; some were from folk religious songs and poems. Most of the tunes are either folk religious tunes, traditional tunes for the religious songs, or slow airs and other folk music. Almost all of the lyrics and music were already in the public domain at the time of publication, except for the "new" hymns.
