  • A photo of William Ward Osborne as a baby with his parents
  • William Ward Osborne, known to family and friends as Ward, was born in Melbourne on the 10th february, 1922, only child of Harold Thomas and Hilda Mary Osborne. During the 2nd World War, Ward was a pilot of a Typhoon fighter, he was killed when his plane crashed over Belgium on 9th November, 1944.
