  • The Bunyip and the Night touring exhibition June 1996 – October 1998. The Bunyip and the Night was a touring exhibition curated by the Queensland Writers Centre and supported by State Library of Queensland. Exhibition toured nationally 1996-7 and in Queensland 1997-8.A two part exhibition: Part 1 The making of a picture book. Part 2 Is this what a bunyip looks like? The exhibition included 21 original framed artworks, teacher’s kit, poster and promotional information.“The catalyst for the exhibition was the publication of ‘The Bunyip and the Night’ by Mark Svendsen, which invited six Queensland artists to illustrate six poems reflecting the fears commonly held concerning the Bunyip, without revealing it visually”
