  • Two pages of a longer report, handwritten in ink on printed letterhead for the Federated Mining Employees of Australia (Tasmania State Council). The reports considers evidence given at the inquest into the deaths of John Kirby and Thomas Joseph Reid, who were killed in a rockfall at the Tasmania Gold Mine at Beaconsfield, Tasmani, on January 2, 1914. In particular it considers the case for compensation.
