Summary
  • Print shows a windmill labeled "Moulin L'erreur" at center on an island labeled "Isle Errante", with a demon with a man on the top, with two demons turning the sails, one of which is labeled "Libertinage". Around the island are cities labeled "La Rochelle, Nismes, Sedan, [and] Geneve"; from each city there is a boardwalk to the island, from La Rochelle, Nismes, Sedan the boardwalk has been dismantled, so that mules carrying loads of grain fall into the water that surrounds the island. The bridge from "Geneve" is complete allowing mules to cross and deposit their loads of grain where it is measured on a scale by "Le Maistre du Moulin". In clouds above, Jesus Christ sits, holding a cross, accompanied by Sts. Peter and Paul, they rain judgement on the scene below. Includes quotations from the Bible: "2 Petr 2, Ephes 4, Psal 10, 2 Timoth 4, [and] 2 Timoth 3".
