GRAND EXCURSION TO PEARL BAY,
The BUILDING COMMITTEE of the New Catholic
Church, St. Leonards, North Shore, have chartered the fine
large steamer DIAMANTINA, belonging to the A. S. N.
ST. STEPHEN'S DAY (Boxing Day). The pleasure
grounds at PEARL BAY will, for the first time, be
opened on this occasion. They are beautifully and roman-
tically situated, and the proprietor, Mr. EDWARDS,
has recently erected a DANCING SALOON and
LUNCHEON ROOM of large dimensions, and other
accommodations. There Is also a Natural Reservoir with
abundance of pure spring water, and altogether this retreat
for picnic and pleasure parties possesses unrivalled advant-
ages. There is sufficient depth of water even at low water
Arrangements will be made for various games, including
at Sydney prices.
A splendid Band will accompany the steamer, which will
make three trips from the Circular Quay, viz, at 9 11, and
2o'clock ; returning to Sydney at 5, 6, and 7 o'clock.
