Twice married, her first
husband, Mr. Samuel Grif-
fen, predeceased her in July,
1949. Of the four children
born to them three survive.
One daughter, Muriel (Mrs.-
R. Askew), also predeceased
her some years ago.
The surviving children
are Elsie (Mrs. J. Mitchell,
R. Pollock, Taree), and
Samuel (Katoomba).
In 1921 Mr. and Mrs.
Griffen and family came to
reside in Bellirigen, Mr.
Griffen following the occu-

ducted by Rev. A. F. Oliver.
